IMO a fighter should always face some type of adversity in his career. The one time his eye did get messed up the fight was stopped as well (in his favor). Unfortunately these 3 learning experiences came a little too late in his career.
With that said, I hope his team learned something as well. Cause they did a HORRIBLE job with that eye. But the same thing I said above can probably be said about his team.
EDIT: Maybe "rookie" was a poor choice of word. :P

As for Harris, his eye got messed up but he was still dominating....he had harris a bit hurt twice in the round of the stoppage(though the ref was a joke stopping it when he did).
Lying to make a point just makes you look like an ******.
Lucas lost fair, but to think Garciaq didn't have a lot of luck going his way is just bs.
Lucas' greatest weakness is his size... he's pretty small and can get busted up making his way in...that's what played in Garcia's favor and why I thought he had a good shot at beating Lucas. I'd still pick Matthysse in a rematch if he can avoid a freak injury like last time.

In fact, boxing has gotten so corrupt you sometimes wonder if its worth wasting your time, let alone your money. More often than not I watch the fight highlights after they happen, and more often than not I'm glad I didnt waste my time only to see how the non-favored fighter gets robbed in one way or another.
That says a lot about boxing today.

I'm ok with the loss, i just don't get it why Danny's fanboys say he was scholed...the irony is that i think if Lucas would have fought like he did against Judah and Alexander (less aggresive and outboxing more) he would have won even more rounds and get the decision.
Edit: and yes, IMO he is too small for welter weights...

No you didn't. Molina had absolutely no business taking you where he took you. People talk crap about Herrera, but Herrera is eons better than John Molina. Naturally though, people dismiss that fact or simply develop amnesia as it suites them.
