He is in for another tough fight when he faces another unbeaten and hard-hitting fighter on Saturday night, when he faces Roberto Ortiz in a 12 round bout at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I'm ok with the loss, i just don't get it why Danny's fanboys say he was scholed...the irony is that i think if Lucas would have fought like he did against Judah and Alexander (less aggresive and outboxing more) he would have won even more rounds and get the decision.

Edit: and yes, IMO he is too small for welter weights...

The excuses… IF he WOULD'VE…BUT the eye injury…NEXT TIME he should… seriously admit Matthysse wasn't good enough, he had his opportunity to win against Alexander, Judah, and Danny, like Angel says "in black and white he lost" the IFS the ANDS and the BUTS are excuses, he had 12 rounds/36 minutes to do something to win and he didnt, he didn't take the pills he took against Peterson is that what he's gonna do next time?

Matts should've done him like he did Dallas and Peterson, but it was probably better for his character that Molina gave him a hard time. There's a good chance that he'll face some adversity tonight, so he already knows he's capable of winning a tough fight. I'm sure Matts will rather finish Ortiz in the first round though lol

I don't agree with that assumption that he didn't have "the experience" a shot Vivian Harris also closed his eye and was ruffing him up until the home town ref stopped the fight.Humberto Sotto had also rocked him.

Ummm like I said, the eye was messed up but the fight was stopped. I hardly call that adversity. It was nowhere near what he had to face in the Garcia fight or the Molina fight. Or what Algieri experienced in the Ruslan fight.

No you didn't. Molina had absolutely no business taking you where he took you. People talk crap about Herrera, but Herrera is eons better than John Molina. Naturally though, people dismiss that fact or simply develop amnesia as it suites them.

And where exactly did Molina take him? He won 2-rounds and almost died doing it. Lol.
