people say marquez is a great combination puncher, but imo gonzalez is the GREATEST combination puncher of all time. also his lead left uppercut is a thing of beauty. incredible.

              Gonzalez is excellent.

Not only is he a good puncher, physically strong, and durable, he is very relaxed and his punches seem to flow effortlessly with impressive accuracy. He is arguably the best combination puncher in boxing and he mixes his attack the the head and body very impressively. He isn't the fastest but his speed is solid and he cuts off the ring very well, making it difficult for faster-footed boxers to escape him.

While it's impressive that he's beaten numerous top divisional fighters, it's more impressive that he's generally dominated them. Yaegashi, Estrada, Rodriguez, Takayama, Hirales, and Niida arguably won only 5-6 rounds combined.

Hard luck Yaegashi. Always going to be an uphill climb against Gonzalez.

It's cold ****** that this wasn't like a big HBO or Showtime fight. These guys both should be stars. No joke.
