I have a hard time ranking a guy who is unknown...besides the people who are on boxing forums the rest dont know who he is ... danny has beaten mathysse, who is adored by most posters on here and thats enough to put him on the list right there.. if gonzalez can beat rhe estrada/segura winner id be happy to put him on the list!

that's just because he happens to be small, though. he has already beaten estrada who is probably pound-for-pound a better fighter than matthysse. as i said, media coverage does not necessarily determine a fighter's worth

Yeah but gonzalez is in a weak division too, and has fought alot rod salka types... the flyweights of the 90's and early 2000's i would see gonzalez having a hardtime beating, like michael carbajal, humberto gonzalez,jorge arce,pastrana, alvarez, lopez amongst others.. those were the years flyweights were p4p, today not so much.

Gonz should also be above Hopkins imo. I think he has better wins over the past few years and of course he doesn't have anything comparable to Hopkins' showings vs Dawson or his draw with Pascal.
