      Ok so now according to the poll title belts matter??? but when certain fighters win belts they mean nothing?

          They matter financially for the fighters.

          They don't matter in the sense that they represent accomplishment. But if you do have one, I hope you try to act like a champion.

            you do realise jacobs and quillin are about to fight for a paper belt right?

            so according to al haymon the belts do matter, paper belt that is

            you are defending actions that are bringing the sport into disrepute

                      TV networks like showing title fights, so obviously they matter.

                      However Quillan is an embarrassment and a great example of what is wrong with boxing in 2014. But I'm pretty sure that his next fight will be for an even more diluted version of the same title. Sure hope he loses to the Al Haymon "advised" opponent.
