The thing that Floyd and some of his fans don't understand is that this is a joke. We know he can read. Not very well, but no one literally believes dude can't read. It's a joke, the audio of him messing up went viral and we all had a good laugh. Just like we do when any other famous person does something ******, it comes with the territory. He doesn't need to address anything, by doing so just adds more fuel to the fire.

I'm surprised Boxing Scene never made an article on this quotable from Floyd yesterday.
                  Is this for real????

He should just keep his mouth shut on the subject and move on.

No reasonable fan much cares if a boxing legend is a rocket scientist as well.

I rarely criticize someone in terms of the things that I can do better than him especially if he has achieved a lot more than what I did in life. I mean I gotta be insulting myself, I can read better than him but look where he ended up, something like that. It could be use for fun or tease but in a more serious manner no. We can say all the hyprocrisy floyd has done and use it against him, but not this one. This holds little power over him, but yes it could be funny. Floyd has done a lot of BS but I believe he is a very competent individual, if he had his passion towards boxing transfer to anything else he would have been great also in that aspect. He is mentally strong, and has a strong sense of reality to himself, even if he had to eject some of the other truths away from his brain just to maintain his reality. I am not his total fan, but I understand his side of the story.
