What I find so, comical is when Khan was dropped by Diaz people were going non-stop " oh he got dropped by a career LW", yet all I heard was crickets when that happened to Lucas.

Molina deserves a rematch, but I don't think he was entitled to an immediate one. He fought well, but was stopped and clearly lost.

Meh. I wouldn't object but I don't particularly care.

Matthysse won every round but the 2 he was knocked down in. Molina had moments but pretty much got his ass whooped. It was brutal towards the end.

Why are you getting so defensive? I didn't say he necessarily deserved a rematch. I asked a question. I personally would rather see a rematch against J.Molina than this fight he has on Saturday.

Can you explain how my thread "backfired"? I made an open poll. If I'd wanted everyone to agree with me, I would have blocked all of the people who I thought would vote against me like Freedom did in her thread.

Why not? I wanted to see if people would actually be honest with their votes.

I also said Vote and Discuss. I was more interested in seeing how people would justify their votes in the comments. So far, very few of the 60 odd people who voted for the Matthysse fight have actually commented.

i based my vote purely on the papers, because it looks like ortiz is a bigger threat to lucas than taylor to broner. still, taylor is a step up for broner from his previous fight. Ortiz has physical advantage over lucas too(reach and height). broner and taylor are about the same

How was that at all defensive. Why even bring up the Molina fight, where other then 1 legal punch, he got his **** pushed in and brutally stopped without winning another round. You're the one being rather defensive in this thread since the consensus doesnt agree with you, hence why you brought up molina.

I voted Broner Taylor. Taylor can definitely give Broner problems but I think AB wins.

Haven't seen any footage of Ortiz to be honest. Heard he's a puncher though
