Actually Algieri is undefeated and his win over Alvarado is as good as Maidana beating Broner. Who had Broner beat? Amazon thin win over Paulie and that was only Broners 2nd fight at ww and he moved down immediately after the Maidana fight plus Broner got a gift vs Ponce De Leon.

Algieri beat Ruslan who had beat Alvarado and you forget he also beat Mauricio Herrera who should have got the win over Danny Garcia.

Algieri is undefeated and doesn't have a loss to someone like Kotelnik like Maidana does.

Another point, Bob is not ******. I think he knows he will hit a minimum number of U.S PPV's just because its Pac. He must be getting some crazy site fees and revenue from China. That is completely out of our control.

this right here. I read an article they only need to sell 400k ppv because of the site fee, foreign tv and they said this will be the 1st ever ppv in China

I think everyone should boycott this fight not because of manny but because of arum! That crap he was saying about floyd being a 14-1 favorite and all that crying during pac/bradley fight week was pathetic.... now he goes and pulls off the same type shiat with a guy who is undefeated but still unknown... obviously greedy bob doesn't believe in karma, this ppv will fail and fail miserably imo..

Pac is still going to get paid his full purse and profit off whatever amount of ppv units are sold, but i will not put any more money in greedy bobs pockets.. and at the end of the day its bob arum who loses money and thats perfectly fine with me!!

I'm just a jaded realist when it comes to Pacquiao. He's only going to fight a TR guy. Bradley and JMM have ben done to death, he's beaten Rios, Alvarado would be even worse and Ruslan lost to Algeri. With his height and reach that alone makes it somewhat interesting. Should it be PPV? Of course not, but it's the best realistic option IMO. Having said that I don't plan to order it, I'll just find a bar or something showing it.

Maidana was a 12-1 underdog...did you boycott that?

Exactly, the only ones who have a problem with it are tHE Floyd stands.

One of them even said this was worse than Danny Garcia vs. Rob Salka.

They are devoid of logic and reasoning, everything is emotional with them.

This fight is a bettors dream, Chris is a live dog, and everyone who has followed Mannys career know that Chris has the style nightmare that gives Pac trouble, heck the floyd stans should be the first ones to acknowledge this since they are the ones who always say that Pac never fights guys who move or they give him trouble, well he fought Bradley and now Algieri both guys are movers who are not flat footed and very slick.

Its not PPV worthy but its a real live fight, Maidana vs. Mayweather is tailormade, i wish Floyd would fight someone like a Bradley, Khan, or Algieri, heck chris is tall and lanky and moves a lot, floyd would ahve trouble trying to chase him down, when was the last time we saw floyd fight someone who wasnt tailormade for him?

When was the last time he fought a guy who moved a lot was slick and wasn't flat footed?

You have to go back to Zab and Sharmba Mitchell, both were boxers but neither are long and rangy
