It's very probable, Chino can do it to anyone he steps in the ring with, being also his first rematch, I would say it's even more probable.

If Maidana can't knock Floyd out in the powerlocks, he sure as hell isn't doing it with the MX's. Nevertheless, I think Maidana should've still been allowed to wear his gloves.

powerlocks have more foam in the knuckle area for brittle hands while mx gloves are a punchers glove for "harder" hands.

He's won his last two fights by majority decision. One was a clear blowout and the other was fairly decisive. If anything it looks like he has no pull with judges.

More than the right punch is the right moment. I hope Garcia has identified those moments where Mayweather is vulnerable, and has drilled into Maidana's head what those moments are. Maidana needs to know when Mayweather will be susceptible to be hit with his best punch, and act.

It will almost certainly be much harder for Maidana to win a decision this go around, not because of corruption but because he will not be able to fight as rough and get away with it.
