I had an argument with my friend about this fight the other day, because he tabbed Mayweather to easily win while I stated it would be a tough fight. Floyd doesn't throw as many combos as he used too, the most combination punching I've seen him do in recent times was the last fight against Maidana, and Ortiz. When he was in the lower weights, he would pepper with 4-6 shots. Floyd would have to keep his work rate up, but I don't see Khan flying in the pocket either, I'm sure he will want to employ in and out movement during that entire fight and clinch when Mayweather starts walking him down. However, Khan has speed, and no offense, yeah he's been KO'd before, but in reality, Maidana never knocked him down. So to say Garcia is a harder puncher than Maidana? I don't believe that, Garcia just caught him with a good shot, just like Prescott. I still think Khan's chin is slightly above average. I think Khan would be the most entertaining fight we will see floyd in aside from Maidana and Pacquiao. Khan will win some early rounds and rounds based off activity, and we'll probably see Floyd peppered with combos a few times throughout, but it will be a good fight because Mayweather will have to increase output to win that fight convincingly, maybe he does KO him? Maybe not, either way I agree that the fight will be competitive, you all r writing Khan off for no reason

This fight would sell massively @ Wembley stadium, PBF's always said he wanted to fight in the UK. However I believe it would be boing to watch, Mayweather vs Pacman or Brook would work better! Khan really needs to re-group before sounding out elite pugilists & prove he's not as china chinned as he appears to be!!...............

Have you not figured out the formula yet? Reporters are always asking Roach (or any trainer/boxer in the spotlight) about any and every subject of possible interest to fans. Do you see the same reporters asking your opinion or mine?

If Khans chin holds up, i dont see Floyd winning, his workrate to low nowadays and his fitness wud be tested as with Khan u have to be on ur feet throughout the fight moving around, all that laying on the ropes will not work against Khan,

          Khan will expose Floyds age
The list is an endless one. Then again what would the professionals know right?

Chin is an obvious one, but stamina is definitely not a liability of Khan's.

Any 'fan' who doesn't think this is a good fight is simply delusional. Yeah, Khan has been stopped, yeah, he stays inside too long at times. That doesn't mean he'd lose necessarily. His speed alone would give Floydie alotta issues, and Hunter would fine tune him to fix a few mistakes here and there. Either W or L, Khan or Pac would give Floydie the toughest fight. That is if Maidana doesn't KO him, which is entirely possible.

I kind of agree with Roach. Khan's speed can pose problems for Mayweather. The fight might actually end being a clinch fest (both sides holding).

I do think Khan would have been more challenging than Maidana but at the same time, Khan still needs to impress at 147 before I know for sure.

Looking back on everything now, I kind of wish Floyd fought Khan instead of Maidana.

...What kind of mess is this?

I agree...Mayweather would be 38 if the fight would take place and Khan has the tools to give him problems. If Khan picks his spots I can see him taking the fight on points.
