4-5 years ago. 6 years ago Manny was at 130-135 fighting Marquez and Diaz, and only in December of that year he moved up to 147 for DLH. Let's not add years to when this fight was at its best.

Let's face it, Mayweather is older and is also past prime. Like always, there's a which hunt against Floyd regarding who would be a good win for him or not. Floyd is a good win for Pac, but not the other way around, apparently. Despite both declining and Floyd being 37 years old, 38 by the time this fight is signed, if it happens. Good wins for Floyd are Golovkin and Lara, it's ridiculous.

I hadn't thought about the specific dates anymore then just a quick & rough memory jog.I still think its a great win for Floyd as he has made the win more appealing by acting all ***** about Manny. I thought he would beat the brakes of Manny back in 2009 but apparently he had way more concerns then i did about him winning….so, i still think it's a solid win for both, but due to how fast Pac has declined and with JMM KHTFO it would add that little bit more.

Still a damn shame that no one can fill the gap left by either fighter, let alone both

this is why I like Freddy. Reminded us all about the fight that needs to happen before it becomes the fight that NEVER happened. Both men should have each other's name on their resume. Its ridiculous, if either think it's ok to continue to fight at the same weight and not make it happen in 2015.

at 147 there is only one champ. Floyd! so I can care less about a guy jumping from 140 and grabbing g a bull**** belt and claiming he has earned the shot at the real champ. Manny is at the top of this list @ 147. in my opinion he can keep fighting who ever he wants since he beat Bradley who I rank third on this list. I bet most of you have Thurman, (HAD) Porter, Maidana, and Khan at the top but it's Manny who is the man to beat outside of Floyd.

Roach said the same thing about Floyd's legs after the Cotto fight. Then Floyd put on a boxing clinic in his next two fights (Guerrero and Canelo) and he shut up. Roach needs to put a lid on it.

Mayweather hasn't called out Manny, so there is no reason for me to believe that Mayweather has formed the testicles to fight Manny yet. Last I heard from Mayweather he's still talking about random blood testing (even though Manny has it done in every fight now) and Bob Arum (even though he already negotiated with Arum for the fight before)...
