exactly hahahahahahahhaa. clottey is even worse now since he is older and hasn't been very active at all (only fought 3 times since 2010).

"but he beat mundine doe!" so what? mundine is poop.

Go back and watch the Pac fight, guy is showing up for a payday and nothing more.

Don't love the fight but Canelo has fought four straight fights against either top guys or dangerous competition so no problem with it. A stay busy fight with bigger ones to come next May.
their reasoning will be "oh he arguably beat cotto!", but guess what that was 5 or 6 years ago hahahahahaha. clottey is way past his prime now.

This is what's going unnoticed. Clottey was out of the ring for a while. 2 fights back he beats Anthony Mundine. Who...is....terrible.

It's a tricky fight, in that Clottey is tough to look good against because he has sneaky counters and won't engage, but it's not a fight that Canelo is going to lose.

And without that cut, Cotto wins that fight MUCH more clearly.

I can't decide what's more intriguing: the fact that Clottey is on twitter or the fact he has fans.

His fan base has abandoned him, after he lil Mayweather had him curled up in the fetal position, they don't buy him as a real Mexican and Team Canelo with the PPV's milking his fans caused a discontent with them.....I hear far more boo's these days, than cheers..............

As far as Clottley I dont like the fight either, but that's all you need to know about Canelo, I hope people vilify him for the hype job he truly is, he's earned nothing in this sport he needs to step up, because truth be told he arguably lost 3 out of his last four matches..............

I disagree. I think Canelo beat Lara Trout and of course he beat Tynur. Although he did get schooled by Mayweather as almost every single other fighter who has fought Mayweather has been schooled.

The problem is Canelo has so many haters, it's impossible for him to win a close fight. Any fight he's in that is close, people will try to give it to the other guy, and claim robbery.

If he was D level he would have been KO'd already, even by weak opposition. Need I remind you of Wilfredo Vasquez, Mike Jones or David Lemiux. All hyped to be the next great thing, all were KO'd before facing any type of real opposition.

                    • So he chose Clottey over Kirkland. Are they gonna claim Kirkland "ducked" him again?
