The "straight" answer is that Floyd is the money guy ("the A side") and he can dictate the gloves with 24 hours before the fight or even with one hour prior to the fight... Or else no fight... That's all...

And that is precisely why I lost any interest in any Floyd's future fights as long as he may change whatever he wants to change in order to lessen his opponent.
