The WBC congratulates the Nevada State Athletic Commission for implementing a much needed policy worth regards to Boxing Gloves to be used in championship fights , which is effective from September 1, 2014 .

Even though there are rules which deal with boxing gloves for championship matches , it is common to see problems one day before the fight which have at times threatened the celebration of the event .

Follow this hogwash procedure and Floyd still changes the gloves the day before the fight. Maidana's were commision approved to begin with. This makes no difference unless it doesn't allow trainers to break in a glove, which would mean it'd be even worse for a fighter like Maidana when the A-side makes him wear a different glove. Smh.

I think that's where Chinos team went wrong. I think they could of got away with using the custom MX gloves, if they gave Floyd a new pair that was still wrapped up. The gloves Robert showed was already broken into, they where opening it and Chino was already trying them on, it was on one of the ESnews videos way before the choosing of the gloves process.

From the changes it seems they implied that Chino gloves were altered or manipulated, why the hell would Floyd trust Chino/Garcia with some secondary gloves after the fact; that they seemingly pulled out a random bag off the floor, completely disregarding the normal process of glove selection and them having a selected few on the table.....Shadiness all around from team Chino

I like both fighter's and although I salute chino for him constantly giving zero ****s, right is right and wrong is wrong people walk into the ring and may not walk out the same, even worse people die in the ring or after the fight..............

Chino should be thankful he's getting a rematch, not to mention the MMA fouls.............
