Maybe he held his own because he's so much bigger than Floyd. That doesn't mean that he can be as impressive in his own weight class.

I'd like to see TMT be successful but they have to choose better prospects and bring them along properly.

You don't seem to understand. Love tends to have GREAT sparring sessions. Not just against Floyd. But against practically everyone.

But when the lights come on, I see a different Love. Like, I don't see the Love that is willing to take risk as well like his sparring sessions. Some fighters are like that. They are great when sparring. But when those lights go on, they perform poorly.

I've seen this in other sports too, like basketball. There would be guys that during practice, they would perform GREAT. But when we had an official game to play, those same guys didn't show up. They performed poorly.

They should have no problem with signing more guys now that they have a licence. Remember how many dudes were willing to opt out mid contract just to join "TMT Promotions" when it was only being circulated? Mayweather's influence will be a big one. He'll have no problem signing raw talent.

I saw a clip of him getting schooled by Andre Dirrell in sparring so who knows how true that is. But fair enough. Maybe Love is one of those gym superstars that simply can't carry it over to real fights.

My point still stands though. If TMT is going to be successful they need better guys that get better results than J'Leon Love.

Of course, that is obvious that they need better guys than Love. I think tbey have that with Bey. He's their best prospect, he has all the tools. But will he execute til the end next time?
