I think Eddie has to get it into his TMT fighters heads to not try to emulate Floyd. The Philly Shell does not work for everyone. Love especially looks uncomfortable using it. It is like he gets cornered, gets flustered and goes "oh yeah, gotta do the Floyd Stance". Next thing you know he gets into some lapse where you can see he is thinking instead of reacting, and gets nailed.
TMT on deck tomorrow night: J'Leon Love, Badou Jack, Theophane, Arias Jr, Bellows

Love didn't lose tonight because of the Philly shell. Nor did he lose because he was thinking instead of reacting. He actually lost because he was reacting, throwing a punch and got hit in the process.Comment

I don't think he even likes the actual sport of boxing. He is simply in it to play race wars.Comment

Most of Mr. Fantastic's posts are racial. To him what happened tonight is a good thing just because it happened to a black guy. The only thing that would have been better as far as he's concerned is if a Puerto Rican had been KO'd.

J'Leon Love got added to TMT after being a sparring partner for Floyd. It was either for the Ortiz or Cotto fight. But Love held his own, did well, and impressed Floyd. He was the main sparring partner.
But it seems that Love might be great during sparring sessions, but when the lights come on, he is only a shell of himself.
I'd like to see TMT be successful but they have to choose better prospects and bring them along properly.Comment

I don't think they viewed tonight as a loss. This was the very first Mayweather Promotions televised card of their own. No co-promotion whatsoever. Just goes to show that they can now sign more guys to their roster and make a show of their own, and Showtime will oblige. A lot of Mayweather Promotions guys aren't even managed by Haymon, so he didn't have a huge part in Floyd's company getting a TV date either.
Dude, chill out with the Floyd, TMT nuthugging. This was not the first card they've done on their own, they've done a couple ShoBox cards all on their own before. This was the only time they did it on a Saturday night, that's it.
Trying to find some reason to take some solace in **** showing by Mayweather Promotions, fck outta here with your 'TBE doe!' assComment

They should have no problem with signing more guys now that they have a licence. Remember how many dudes were willing to opt out mid contract just to join "TMT Promotions" when it was only being circulated? Mayweather's influence will be a big one. He'll have no problem signing raw talent.Comment
