    Ooh.
All those guys were actually in his division at least. Canelo fought, a Jr. WW who was losing to Ortiz before he quit. Who jumped up two division in 2 fights, yea... you can't win this.

You kidding? It'd be a really good fight @160, at 154 I'd definitely favour Cotto, but you're tripping if you think this is anything other than a war at either weight.

Actually, neither Lee or Rosado are easy fights for Cotto - both are long, rangy guys (though both are more suited to 160) with decent skills that could give Cotto real problems.

"Middleweight champion" who has never fought at middleweight and from the looks of it flat out refuses to ever fight at middleweight.

File this under reasons people compare MMA favorably to boxing.

Another "celebrity" backed by his management and nationalistic fans who doesn't actually take competitive fights because it's a "financial risk".

Yea, before when he had a title he won against a WW and fought more WW's than JMW's...and even a JWW, all in the span of being a champion and rated in the top 5 of his division

              No way it's outside MSG.

I think he's still got a strong Philly base despite moving to Cali. Sad he broke up with Briscoe, at least they're still cool

Canelo cotto is a megafight, going to risk ruining that for Andy Lee? No thx.
Spot on. Personally I would just set up the canelo bout for cinco de mayo. He'd be off for 11 months, wouldn't be the first time a major fighter fought once a year.

if arum is serious about pac/may (which i doubt) that would be the may fight. instead of these tune-ups i wish they'd just give cotto/canelo that january ppv date they were gonna give chavez/froch.

Andy Lee not even in the ranking at 160, Cotto could be fighting Glen Tapia in new york next
