Comments Thread For: Quigg Eager To Face Leo Santa Cruz or Carl Frampton

Scott Quigg has shrugged off another change of opponent but remains determined to face the big names in the super-bantamweight division.

The Bury fighter was due to defend his WBA title against Paulus Ambunda, but the Namibian pulled out through injury, meaning the champion will now face replacement Stephane Jamoye, on September 13, live on Sky Sports 1.

This is the second successive fight in which Quigg’s preparation has been disrupted, as the dangerous Tshifhiwa Munyai was named as a new foe just over a week ahead of his last bout in April.

If you guys don't ever plan on fighting each other and just saying each other's names... at least say Rigondeaux too. Jesus, is it so bad that you won't acknowledge his existence?

Quigg has already mentioned Rigondeaux several times and that he's not ready to fight him. What do you want him to keep repeating it for your own personal pleasure?

Its sad that guys like Quigg are considered a champion today. Not even the best in his sanctioning body, let alone his division.

        Damn shame

Leo isn't fighting no one! As for Frampton Quigg, I think that fight would be good on the undercard of Brook Khan at wembley next year and I can see that fight happening some way or another next year providing Carl beats Kiko, which he will no doubt.

I don't consider any WBA "regular" champions to be actual world champions.

At least Frampton & Kiko have some balls, hopefully the winner fights Rigo.

Quigg & LSC do nothing but mention names and repeat ''I'm not scared''
