If no Mayweather, after Algieri, Manny plans to go 140 and 135.

im hoping either Thurman or Garcia sign with Top Rank and land a big fight with Pacquiao for his swan song next year. possibly a 2-3 fight deal.

theres no need for him to drop to 140

Thurman and Garcia could then fight Bradley or Marquez

as we already know that the 147 lbs champion is a scared coward, so pac going to 140 or 135 is the best option for him.

          ....what do you guys think?
So let me get this straight, the cold war supposedly has ended, which now opens up the whole GBP stable of WW's and Pac wants to move down to 140 or 135???
I'm sure somehow Pac fans will say the whole WW division was ducking him so he had to move down.

Pac is still the real lineal champ at 140 and the pretender Danny Garcia is a disgrace to the sport

Theres no doubt that Pacquiao beats Garcia so I'd rather see Prov fight Garcia

He's clearly a scared coward because Floyd walked away from two offers made by Pac right? Or was it Pac that walked away from two offers made by Floyd?

Is there no one else at 147 that Pac can fight? I guess not being that he's fighting Algeri (Avirtual unknown and weakest 140 champ) at 147. I guess Thurman, Porter, Brook, Khan, Guerrero, Alexander were not good options. Hell even Broner would have been a better option.

He hasn't been there in a long time now, and has started weighing in at 147 for his welterweight fights. It would surprise me if he could make 140 with no issues.

Definitely wouldn't be easy for him to make 140.

He'd make it but he'd struggle.

The myth he needs 5 million calories and 25 meals a day to make 144 lbs is pretty much obvious at this point it's not the case.
