Funny that you put Hearns there, let me teach u a history lesson. Tommy Hearns liked to fight with Reyes gloves, being that Reyes gloves were a punchers glove they were packed looser at the knuckle which allowed for full transfer, well the funny thing about gloves like this is that they hurt the hand of the fighter who's using them through out the course of the fight. So instead of changing the style of gloves he used due to constantly hurting his hands, Tommy Hearns forced every person he fought to sign a contract which included an agreement that his opponent will have to wear the same style of glove, there by injuring their hands as well. I'm sure if you dig you would find glove controversy with each of the fighters you listed. Regular fans don't care about the gloves, get over it.

Maidana just solidifying/re-justifying the fight. He doesn't want anyone to say that Floyd was anything less than peak - in case he beats him somehow...

The simple matter of life is, eventually even a bad boxer will be able to destroy Floyd, simply because he will be too damn old. Age. Happens to everyone, inculding Floyd, and since we're talking honest here lets also admit he was never that good.
The only great thing about Floyd "Money" Mayweather was his business plan. Other than that, he's always been one of many A level fighters of his time, with a good defense, but above all, the brains to avoid the fights he knew he couldnt win using one excuse or another.

Not a good sign for Mayweather...

Maidanna knows he will win and wants to make sure he get credit for it, not for people to claim Mayweather was old and shot

If Mayweather isn't a great fighter, then there aren't any today in this era.

His resume is the best in this era and its hard to argue against it and also he is one of the best conditioned and skilled fighters of the past few decades.

                  revisionist history

Mayweather was not a huge favorite to beat Corrales(was favored slightly), Castillo, De La Hoya, Hatton, or Genaro Hernandez in his 18th fight.

Go back and do your research, when he was fighting at 130 and 135 he called out everyone from 135-154 and said he was the best fighter from 154 down. Its ironic someone who has avoided fighting the best has won lineal titles in 4 out 5 weight class he has competed at.
                  Fail

After he established himself in the mid 2000's, no one was gonna be favored over him because he was in his prime. These so-called folks he avoided because he knew he couldn't beat them are a joke. Margarito??

LOL Margarito wouldn't even be in his top 5 biggest wins. He ended up fighting Mosley and Cotto after both resurrected their careers.

Manny Pacquaio? Politics dude...neither are afraid of the other they are both greats

Face it, you want him to lose because you don't like him personally or have some hidden agenda

Stevie Wonder could see dude is an all time great

I never said he wasn't a good fighter. I said he's an A level fighter with an outstanding business plan... Floyd fans have his same reading skills....

Pacquiao is not what most would call "a pressure fighter"
