Based on the in-ring performance of the first fight, Marcos Maidana (35-4, 31KOs) saw no physical decline in Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs). Mayweather had a lot more trouble with Maidana than many people had expected. Some people felt Mayweather's issues were attributed to age. I have been saying the same thing, Floyd hasn't really declined yet and we will se Floyd at his best on fight night win or lose.

Mayweather is well in decline.

Still a great fighter, but his speed and movement have clearly declined. Current Mayweather has faded noticeably from the guy who schooled Marquez.
