I don't know many other 50 year old boxers handing out whoopings to title holders half their age and willing to take on the toughest challenges available. Crawford has never backed down from a challenge and so far is living up to all the hype. He took some shots from the super fast Gamboa but he wrecked him in the end.

Definitely Thurman and GGG. Love watching them fight but their resume doesn't match the hype even if it's not their fault they're not getting the fights.Comment

Hopkins is one of the biggest opportunist in the history of the sport. Dude is smart in picking fights at the right time. I give him props for taking care of himself but if the division had its share of great fighters, Hopkins wouldn't even exist.I don't know many other 50 year old boxers handing out whoopings to title holders half their age and willing to take on the toughest challenges available. A Gamboa that wasn't a 135 pounder. The size difference was totally obvious. I can understand if Crawford would of unified more than 3 belts.Comment

^^^^^^^^ggg is not overhyped in my opinion. He has koed something like 16 guys in a row including at least 5 top ten world rated middleweights. Every place that ranks fighters has him the #1 middleweight in the world and all the top middleweights refuse to fight him. The top rated middleweights that have the courage to fight him like geale only last a few rounds. He is fighting cotto's mandatory next. If he ever loses a fight or fails to ko his opponent then maybe he is overrated. Until then he damn sure is one of the best pfp fighters in the world and probably the best.

Well I hate to say it but Wilder certainly seems to fit that profile.
Thing is I really do think Wilder has great chances to **** out some top boxers.
Unfortunately he has received ultra-inflated hype without really (convincingly) beating anyone very relevant.
And next would be Andre Ward.
The guy was great but he is finished now. His career has gone, the way of the dodo. He isn't beating anybody relevant now.Comment
