Why fights in the UK are not good for boxing!

First off I would like to congratulate all the Limeys for a great Calzaghe performance. I predicted that Calzaghe was going to surprise many Americans, but I was disgusted with some of the events that occured. While watching the Hatton/KT, Lacy/Joe Calzaghe fights, I noticed that the officiating in UK is horrible. I will not blame the fighters for doing dirty tactics like Calzaghe(holding Lacy left hand and hitting him) or Hatton (holding and hitting behind the head while holding), I blame the officails.

Now I understand why some American fighters do not decide to fight in the UK and visa versa.

Did anyone else notice the bad officiating? If so what did you notice?

I agree but that's what you get when you ship in refs from the US circuit

wasnt the referee Puerto Rican. As was one of the Judges and the other two Brit and an American. So whats your point?

America is the best place for refereeing... over in the States Lacy could have KD'd his opponent on a break and got him a 10 count for it.

They're strict in the US though, much stricter than England... they take points off you when you bite off another's man ear.

As I said Calzaghe won impressively, but Calzaghe was Holding and hitting throughout the fight and that is not legal in any way.
