Right he should be able to wear his gloves however this time around however supposedly it's in the contract that he signed that he wears the Powerlocks for the rematch. If he signed it, Thats on him. Of course no one is really going to turn down a rematch with Floyd and $5m+ payday, so he really doesn't have a choice despite what he says.

Mayweather defenders will quickly point this out and say no one should complain since he signed the dotted line, however boxers have a really small window to make money and of course a guy like Maidana who is an overachiever is going to accept being that he'll never see this kind of money ever again. They should replace the Powerlock logo with the MX logo on the Powerlocks and put those on the night of the fight. I am positive that it is very possible to do a switch up on fight night.
