I didn't switch anything. You mentioned Tony weeks of their first fight. You brought up the spanish/hispanic stuff. I never said tony weeks "protected" floyd in the cotto fight. I said that Weeks gave BOTH fighters warning. In the cotto-mayweather fight, floyd constantly held, but BOTH fighters were not given any warning, he was letting them fight it out just like the maidana-floyd fight. Don't put extra words in my mouth.

I feel you. But the majority of Hispanics dont call themselves "hispanic". Thats just a fact. I just go with im puertorican. Usually when you ask someone what they are, they just say the country they are from. They dont really say spanish/hispanic. I do get you though about the clarification part

I hear you, good mention too. I'm actually surprised that power punchers don't use this tactic as much as they used to. The best i've seen at playing possom was Pryor, he'd let you get momentum get over committed to your assault and them WHAM! Lights out. It would behoove floyd to be extra cautious in this fight, watching the replay Maidana had a lot of chances to end his streak and if Floyd commits them again he might really find himself in trouble. Floyd needs to stick with what his strengths are and that's boxing and evasiveness. I am one of those that believes Floyd is losing a bit of steam and reaction time. If he's adopting changes due to that I would highly recommend more work to the body. I just don't see Floyd as fast as he used to be, not nearly as fast. Maybe it's just me but he looked old in that last fight.
