Both Taylor & Hopkins can easily beat Cal. Also I will favor Tarver against Cal. I've always said that Lacy can be beat when he fights a boxer with some skills. Lacy has no defense or skills. He is similar to Peter. I was never sold on Lacy, like some other were.

Skill wise both Hopkins & Taylor are way ahead of Calzaghe. Also I've seen like 8 fights from Cal, I was never impressed with Cal, but I just didn't think he will be the first man to beat Lacy, I give him respect for proving many wrong. I've always said Taylor will beat Lacy, but 75% of the great minds at Boxingscene thought Lacy will KO Taylor.

Also to Calzaghe fans, please don't start to overrate this guy, he's won his first true belt & I respect him for that.

Not realy. I don't think Taylor or Hopkins could easily win but his thoughts on Calzaghe aren't way off or anything. Is this the best fight Calzaghe has put on: Yes or no? To me the answer is a resounding yes. Keep that in mind when thinking about his future, especially with his age in mind.

Lol, I think it's load of crap for anyone that believes Cal is unbeatable from 160 to 175.

Mad love for Cal, but let not start sucking on his nuts now.

Fact is both Hopkins & Taylor are much more skillful then Cal. If anyone disagrees with this, then they really don't know much about boxing.

The point being a asked everyone before. If Calzaghe did a number on Lacy and won easy, like he did, would he be up there with the best of all the fighters. They said, yes he would.
NOW>>>>>as usual a British fighter hammers the yank, like Hatton over Zoo last year, and now Lacy, oh he wasn`t that good, and , oh Calzaghe would be humbled by Hopkins,Tarver etc...
Calzaghe should sart the favorite in any fight with the other Americans around that weight!

I agree that many overrated Lacy, but I never did. This is the way I felt long before this fight. Many Lacy fans jumped at me for saying that he will be beat by a boxer with some skills.

No no no, because the question was plainy asked to the Lacy fans, they were asked if Lacy was over rated and 92% of boxing scene replied NO, Lacy will beat Calzaghe and if Calzaghe beat Lacy he`d be in the top 5 p4p. This is what people said this time yesterday and now its over suddenly Lacy is a punk who was limited etc...why always double standards!

I just want Lacy to be held in the same regard. They always depreciate a fighter once he has lost. The facts are Lacy was the next big thing based on his performances.
Calzaghe beats the **** out of him and now....what?
