It's a little absurd. Ward should be happy to just get a fight. I don't think he's made that much money in his career to stop fighting, especially with these pricey lawsuits constantly occurring.

All of you blind GGG fan boys - a fighter that is a weight class up does not call out a fighter a weight class lower than him ! Instead he exposes him by calling his bluff, fans come up with excuses for their fighter - Wards team just clarified everything - but dam Rubio is no given, he might be able to do a lil somethin somethin to GGG - glad Ward's team clarified this with all of the speculation from the baddest man from 154 - 168 - team spreading that propoganda ....a victory over ward would do waaaay more for GGG's career than anybody on the table for dude - period!!

Why? - Because Ward's the best boxer of this generation. The guy is a living ****in legend. The split should be 99/1 for Ward, and even then, that's obscenely generous

So lets say GGG KO's Ward, what will that do for him in the MW division ?

Its already hard for him to get fights and he's the WBA champ.

Ward jockeying for the bigger money is what's happening here. Ward hasn't had a payday from the ring in a while. He is NOT a PPV star.

This whole thing is just jockeying for position in a later fight to come in 3 or 4 years

No, a victory over Mayweather, Cotto or Canelo would do more.

Bottom line Ward's not fighting anyone and he thinks that gives him carte blanche to talk. Talk is cheap, have Goossen send K2 a contract offer if he's serious.

The "trash talk" between Golovkin and Ward themselves is barely existent. From both of them it's stuff like "Yeah, I'd fight him, but I don't really care".

It seems like a few people around them want to hype this fight but they themselves are just shrugging and more content holding down their divisions. That's just what I see.

Ward's team are liars though. Goossen is refusing to get fights by Ward's own admission and he isn't fighting anyone, Golovkin or otherwise. They need to stop pretending everything is going smoothly.
