Chino should wear gloves with padding from ellerbes nose hair.

Stuff like this ruins the sport no fighter should bend the rules to their advantage. Take away the one chance of maidana winning plus throwing in the ****test undercard to date. Can only see this going one way and that's being a flop. I won't even stay up late for this pure waste of time fight.

Floyd's nuthuggers are still pretending that Maidana tried to sneak altered gloves into the fight, like he broke into wherever the gloves were being held the night before and ripped the padding out without anyone noticing.

I suppose that's one of those myths that will last forever, like Pac forcing Oscar down to a catchweight.

Good. Hope this puts horribly overblown issue to rest. Embarrassing to watch "boxing" fans whine about gloves.

Boxing gloves are the most important thing in the ring besides the 2 fighters and the referee.

I see. Instead, it was less embarrassing to watch your TBE boy whining about those gloves in the first place, right? If not for him people would have never known about those gloves.

it's embarrassing to hear people talk about a horsehair glove and a foam glove like there is no difference. maidana's hand didn't even fit into the other everlast glove.

maidana tried to wear a glove, delivered directly from the factory, that was in the contract. team mayweather refused the first glove, with an aregentine print, and the comission accepted. a second pair of red everlast MX gloves, again, straight from the factory, were approved by the comission. mayweather and his people still refused to fight. they had maidana wear a different glove. they did it for an advantage.

it's only mayweather fanboys who don't see this as an issue, especially in a close fight that saw mayweather taking shots.

lol, it really is funny to watch the floyd brigade and their stance on this.

"stop whining about gloves... unless your name is floyd mayweather. then you can whine. TBE."

Floyd is a joke, such a ***** first time around & being one again.

He lost the first fight & trying to get every possible advantage again
