Margarito didn't fought his fight and still dropped and won almost every round.

Robert Garcia (the trainer) said that they wanted to fight safe and get the win without taking much punishments and taking risks. If Margarito fought his normal fight he probably wouldn't even be talking about Roberto Garcia today.

Margarito was trying to get the KO the first 4-6 rounds while still boxing. However after those rounds he just completely started running.

If he wouldve fought his normal fight he would've played into Garcias game & wouldve been hit A LOT.

Margarito was already slowing down the last 2-3 rounds, if he wouldve exchanged with Garcia & if it was a 12 round fight it wouldve been a different outcome.

Margarito didnt have the same power & Garcia can take a punch

I was surprised by that too the most feared man on the planet decided not to slug it out with Garcia

If Margarito fought his normal fight he would have got his ass knocked out. That's the reason why Margarito's trainer didn't want to take any risks against Garcia. They knew Roberto Garcia was relentless at 154 and the only way to win was to run like a bytch.

Garcia is relentless at both weight classes. People gotta take into account that he had 3 fights in less than 6 months, two of those fights being at 147 where he hadnt fought in 7 years. Fighting November 1st will give him enough time to rest & still have a 7 week training camp.

He will look even better in this next fight

I dont think people are taking this into account. Either that or they didnt see the fight.

154 is tough bro, its not as deep as 147 but those are some big guys at 154. On top of that Garcia has more options at 147 and is easily making the weight.

Conventional wisdom says as you get older it gets tougher to make and drop weight but so far so good.

He made 154 on 12 days notice. thats 10 days to make weight cuz he got the call it was late the night & weigh in is the day before the fight. lost 17 lbs in 10 days

Roberto Garcia is a very tough guy, there's no way Josesito Lopez would stop him.

Hopefully the card will look something like this:

                      Thurman vs Alexander
                      R.Garcia vs J.Lopez
                      Karass vs Kamegai
