I will go as far as saying pavlik beats him as I have elaborated on in previous post, pavlik punched just as hard if not harder and was just to tough and relentless. You need more than just a big punch to beat a prime pavlik he proved that against the likes of miranda and rubio. But ggg is a decent fighter and a good guy but he will never be an all time great in my opinion maybe a hall of fame fighter but he is even far from that at this point. Hall of fame maybe but all time great never, he will eventually be exposed im confident of it. But he may need to move up for that to happen nothing or noone in the MW division is capable of doing that he would kill jacobs, kid chocolate beats jacobs at this point in my opinion and ggg beats them all, the division is just to weak to present a real challenge he will need to move up to find a career defining fight in my opinion.
Okay, but if we're back in 1982 and Hagler is facing the same problem with his competition, or 1978 when no one would fight him, are you telling Hagler to move up and calling him a fraud?

Golovkin could still have the defining fights come to him if he wishes to stay at middleweight. Who knows how things shake out 3 or 4 years from now, if Golovkin is still atop the division?

No, Golovkin won't be an ATG barring some unforeseen increase in competition. But so what? Not many fighters are.

I would love to see Bhop go fight Wlad Klitschko. Much different level of Heavyweight talent, but I think Bhop is just genius enough, he'd know how to beat a guy that big, strong and still near his prime.
You should take a close look into Ruiz's record. He actually has several quality wins at that point in time. He wasn't a huge guy at the weight which made the fight but don't try and discredit Roy for that one, he was giving up 35 lbs of weight. Imagine if Floyd gave up 35 lbs.

I dont call ggg a hype job simply because of lack of competition but because of lack of overall skill, and based on his performances against faded fighters that he should have beaten soundly like ouma for instance. That was not the same ouma who was stirring up interest earlier in his career, he should have dominated that faded version of ouma, ouma who really could only be considered a b level fighter at his best. I say he is more hype than substance because of his obvious lack of skill and lack of versatility and because of his past performances against faded fighters he should have betean soundly.

Why plural? Who else other than Ouma?

Wild comparison to Miranda and Rubio up there

Ruiz wasn't the best heavyweight ever of course but he still held a title and beat evander Holyfield which is an accomplishment.
Roy certainly fought some stiffs but he also fought EVERY single undefeated contender that came through the division except D.M. And that's just because he wouldn't come here to fight.he cleaned out the division top to bottom, what more could he do? I never heard Calzaghe calling him out for a fight in his prime.. BHOP is a legend and the man for fighting anyone, anytime, but he would get his face caved in by Wlad...the man is 6-7 250lbs of solid muscle and hits like a mule lol.

I say ouma because he stands out more than the rest. Wild comparison to miranda and rubio? What's so wild about it? Miranda was being touted as the second coming also, the were comparing him to bhop at one point, bhop even signed on for the guy referring to him as the possible next great MW champ until he was exposed. He had proven nothing but his ability to flatten c and b level fighters. GGG is following the same pattern unproven, skill deficient and untested, but yet people are even comparing him to all time greats like hagler as this point. A major difference though was that miranda was a much harder puncher in my opinion, but both were untested, skill deficient, and unproven but yet it seemed like everyone was jumping on their band wagons.

So why did you repeatedly cite his poor past performances when you had only 1 in mind? It happens, it's not like he got dropped 2x and drew with Mercado. He stopped and near murdered a very tough former champ, in his worst outing by far.

Hey good luck with that Miranda comparison. I hear he had a stellar amateur career.

I'll tell you what. Rubio is definitely not scared of Triple G, like the rest of the dudes he's fought recently. He ain't laying down like them either. Expect fireworks people, fireworks.

                      three or four rounds tops.

maybe rubio pretends to be a nine year old girl again, the way he did in the pavlik fight.
