How can one guy that has the skills the sport is named after be hated? Makes me think that a black fighter that good isn't appreciate because of the color of his skin. .The guy say the same thing other fighters say to sell fights but but is hated because he doesn't kill zza. Sad....

It has nothing to do with his skin colour. Why are guys like hopkins revered if that's the case? Why are guys like Leonard, hearns and hagler considered some of the best?

Neither man could punch at 147, their both little guys void of real punching power. If Maidana can continue to chop the right hand over and down Floyds left shoulder and get his hook in there short and quick (not like Canelo's sloppy wide hook) I think he may find some success there. He still needs to rough up Floyd and press him with a good even tempo.
Floyd needs to take this guy to the center of the ring and out box him but I'm not sure if the legs will allow him to do that all night! He will need a "mix bag"
to keep Maidana honest and busy on defense.
Hopefully the ref doesn't play a roll in this fight and sway the pattern one way or the other.

Personally if Maidana had a strong double jab to control with I think he wins this fight!
If Mayweather had the legs to go center ring and step around Maidana I think he out boxes him easily!

I think it's possible...sure. But I'm actually leaning toward Floyd stopping him. IDK, I keep seeing something playing out like Toney-Jirov or Nelson-Fenech II. I could see Floyd pulling off that that sort of strategy that involves well-timed shots on the inside that breaks down Maidana.
