Pretty sure Arum sees big $$$ in Algeri. Handsome, educated, well spoken. I'm sure he thinks he can do some Oscar **** with him. Depending on how far gone he thinks Manny is. Pac could find himself on the ass end of another controversial decision.

Arum's gonna be Arum and the dumbasses around here are gonna be dumbasses. It is what it is. Personally, I like the Manny-Algeri match-up more than the Floyd-Maidana match-up because Chris is new blood and we don't know his ceiling. If he beats Manny we potentially have a new star. We know what Chino is. If he had beaten or beats Floyd. Its more an indicator of how far Floyd has slipped. Kinda like when Glen Johnson starched Roy.

Algieri is a legend moving up from a lower weight. He's exactly like him!

Yes, in paper the fight is a mismatch. But so was Algeri-Provo. But until we find a level of comp that Chris can't compete at. Everything else is just a guess. No matter how educated the guess may be.
Check out the fight against Jose Peralta at some point and let me know if you don't see Algieri's ceiling. He will be destroyed by Pacquiao.
