That last guy Pedraza beat was arguably better at this stage than Juanma and Abner was never that good. To say Vargas had better competition is questionable. He has had more fights, more exposure, he also is at home in the South West, which is where Pedraza has the edge. He can fight anywhere, but let Vargas go to Puerto Rico for this one and the odds go way up.
Put up a poll and I guarantee you Vargas resume would be picked in a landslide. Doesn't mean an automatic win for a fighter, but I've seen Pedraza hit WAY more often than Vargas and expect Vargas to win if they fight.
