He doesn't work for Golden Boy, he just uses them to co-promote his fights (I think mainly because of Richard Schaefer) and I assume the way they do it Golden Boy just distribute the checks to Floyd. Al Haymon is his actual promoter (although I think Mayweather and his team have the main say in what goes on).

50 Cent also said "Get a account Floyd, the people around you are using you" this is something I agree with, carrying the amount of cash around he does, having the blatant gold diggers around him all the time, isn't good for him. I'm surprised so many people care that he can't read lol, he can pay for his kids to get a very good education anyway so it's not like he has to be good at reading.

It doesn't surprise me if he can't read, boxing was his life from a very young age and it was all he did and was his main focus, he wasn't expecting to make a career out of anything academic, he was very good at boxing from a young age and expected to excel in that instead, he dropped out of high school to concentrate on his boxing and on the Olympics so clearly education was never his first priority.

My dude no disrespect but please stop quoting Forbe numbers for entertainers. They are not employees of a fortune 500 corporation where all of their earnings are public information. All these people can do is look at the deals the entertainers allow to be made public. These same people said Young Joc had earned $20 million on the year he had his hit...what'd young joc say? "I wish I had made $20 mill". The numbers are all estimations...Forbes nails it on the head for CEO's because the top 100 CEO's all have publicly disclosed salaries and packages.
