Brook vs Alexander; who would have won?

I know Alexander stylistically couldn't be any further apart from Porter but who do you think would have won if they had fought?

Also has that changed from before their fights got postponed?


Still in the same thoughts thinking Brook beats his ass rather easily and puts a bit of a beating on him in the second half.

I think Brook is the better fighter and would pick him to win, but if turns into a clinch fest Devon may win in a stinker.

It's hard to tell. Alexander and Porter are two completely different fighters stylistically. Before the Porter fight, i'd have picked Alexander to beat Brook. Now, i'd say it's 50-50.

Porter couldn't really do anything in the clinch, I have serious doubts the much physically weaker and smaller, brittle-handed Alexander could. He has no real inside ability he just tries to spoil when things get tough.
Its more of he gives up mentally and just tries making you look as bad as possible.

He'd make it ugly for sure.

Alexander is the definition of average IMO.

I had Kell by wide decision when it was supposed to happen, I still have that. Alexander was getting hit clean and hurt from the outside by Porter, he waits, has no power....yeah, 117-111 Brook.

Alexander was always an easier matchup for Brook than Porter was, who at least had the sort of aggressive style to take Brook out of his comfort zone and force him into boxing at an uncomfortable pace. Devon just gets picked off at range by the much sharper, more fundamentally sound boxer of the two. I think it would look something similar to the Kotelnik fight, actually.

I'd say Brook by decision, but it's hard to look good against Alexander. One thing it would have in common with the Porter fight would be Brook landing all the clean blows while Alexander landed ineffective punches.
