No he did not.... Chino wanted a tune up and Thurman isn't exactly a fighter you wanna face if you want a tune up.

His team initially agreed to fight him but then saw his 17-0 16 KO record and thought he was too dangerous so that pulled out, that's a clear duck!

I rate Keith Thurman highly. He's one of the best prospects in boxing at the moment I think. Of course there are questions regarding a lot of things about him, but I feel he's the goods and he has the cojones that maybe some of the other guys don't have.

An unproven fighter with a suspect chin and leaky defense isnt a tune up for a veteran power puncher?

Khan and Thurman should fight in December. Khan is looking for a fight and Thurman is itching to fight.

I was gonna jump in this convo but the Maidana fanboys are getting slaughtered.

So which one is it, Thurman isnt good or his isnt exactly a tune up? If he isnt good why didnt Maidana take the tune up with Thurman?

Khan would be on crack to jump in the ring with Thurmann.

Brook wud also have to be on crack

Thurmann KO's them both within 5 rounds

Brook was calling out Thurmann after the fight, he was feeling on top of the world after that Porter win, but when he had time to think about it, Thurmann isnt even being mentioned anymore LOL

High risk, low reward, there is a reason why he is avoided by everyone

Neither Khan or Brook have strong chins, Thurmann looks very dangerous

                    Never said he's not good.

He's not the kind of fighter someone looking for a tune up confidence building fight should go for.

Instead he whooped Soto Karass for a comeback fight, who is Thurman's best win.

                      16-0/17-0 prospect vs a 30+ fight vet...

Why didnt he fight him? Plain and simple, it's called a DUCK.

"His KO ratio is too high."
