Wow, I really wasn't expecting Joe to defeat Lacy at all. And what happened, he dominated the fight, and made it look seriously easy! You can't act like Lacy's a bum, because his record clearly states that he's a force. And Calzaghe wasn't even in his prime. Whoah. I can imagine how disappointed a lot of Americans are, but I have to admit I was real impressed by Joe, he's definitely one of the greatest super middleweights ever.

i havnt seen much of lacy so after watching calzaghi schooling him i can only hold 1 opinion on him and that hes a 1 dimensional bum.
im sorry for calling him that but all the weeks prior calzaghi as recieved a lot of negatives about this fight from which seemed to be constructed mainly by americans so i can only feel lacy in regard as the above statement.

Feel the same way really, i stayed up to 2am to witness one of the best boxing performance i've seen.

Lacy's no bum and deserves respect for taking this fight so early into his professional career (who advised him, on that?) and travelling over here but i can't help but think his corner could have protected more by halting the fight at around round 9.

Its funny though how all these so called Lacy fans are now calling him a bum and what not but i feel like he could learn from this and return an improved fighter.

Not sure he could dominate the division though cos Kessler supposedly a class act as well not to mention the potential of Froch but who knows................

Amazing the way he was promoted was a mix between Tyson's power with heart and determination of Holyfield!!!

You just can't build up someones reputation then diminish it after one loss. Come on your talking here about Calzaghe a guy that Collins, Benn & Eubank not to mention Jones and Hokions knew was a talented and dangerous fighter cos of his ferious handspeed and ability to trade if neccessary.
