Herrera is the only guy deserving of a rematch because of close the fight was. Mathysse got beat clearly 8-4 and got KD too. There is no need for a Mathysse rematch unless Mathysse score some big wins.

Best thing for Danny is to move to 147 and kick Guerrero's arse and then go for a title

      Profit before pride.
How is he ducking a guy he already beat. Who else is he ducking?

Matthysse is such a bum, Gift only fights WARRIORS. There's this 12 year old kid in Liberia, ranked #432 lightweight who's supposed to be very good... now that's a fight we all want to see

People have lost close fights throughout boxing history and got rematches. This makes no sense.

It's the Mayweather fandom thing. They like to repeat what the fighter says and cant think of anything on their own. Garcia or his dad said this once and you guys just repeat it now.

Stick to twitter wars and poverty... Chump.

Matthysse and his camp fly to the United States on August 30 for their fight with Mexican ****er, Roberto Ortíz (31-0-1, 24 KOs).

Barrera told BoxingScene that although he sees Ortíz as a good opponent who punches hard, he would have preferred a rematch with Danny García instead.

I like Matthyse but I don't get why he feels he deserves a rematch.

It wasn't controversial or anything it was just kinda close. People are acting like it NEEDS to happen. Then first one needed to happen and he lost. Now he's still ducking rofl

Everyone wants it besides you and the other 4 Garcia fans on this site. No one else at 140 is deserving or good enough besides Matthysse. Herrera sucks and beat Garcia, so he could give him a rematch also.

Everyone wants it cause you all made a fool of yourself predicting Danny to go into a coma and can't live with the loss

the first fight was good, shouldn't we as NON-CASUAL fans be wanting to see great fights regardless of whether or not they're a rematch?

people watched Pacquiao/Marquez FOUR times and yet this fight can't happen? lmao
