And please, no big name fighter is ducking Thurman. This elevated status that Thurman has crafted for himself is crazy.
Development? lol, the dude was in a semi-final eliminator and the rematch was a fight he took because his world title shot was postponed. He was far above development that's just an excuse. He got knocked down early in his career, that's when he was still in development.

Maidana and Guerrero have ducked Thurman so blatantly. Unless you don't consider them big name opponents?

Very interesting fight, I favor One Time but it would be a difficult fight.

Thurman has a punchers chance, but I just cant get that image of Thurman being rocked badly by Karass out of my head. I think Brook would frustrate him with the jab, Thurman would get irritated and start swinging and then Brook would turn his lights out with the straight right mid rounds.

Not all fighters develop in the same time span. He wasn't rushed was my point, he was allowed time to develop. But once he stepped up he was ready, as evidenced by last week.

You're only as good as your last fight.

Ducking someone and not having better offers are different things.

So it's not ducking to agree to fight someone but then pull out when you see their record?

Time for the us and uk fans to get annoyed at each other again and get butthurt when their guy loses.

Who are we kidding? Neither Brook nor Khan would set their sights on Thurman anytime soon. They see him as a high risk, low reward fighter. (At least, that's the perception.)

If One Time continues to ignore Alexander's calls, Thurman will continue to stay irrelevant for a long while more. Soon, Alexander will become unavailable and Thurman will end up with a long list of Karasses and Diazes.

                People need to get real.
