Brook would be a HUGE step up for Thurman.

I could see Brook troubling him with his speed, jab, and counter-punching.

I think Thurman would KO Brook, his punches are a lot more crisp than Porter.

Brook is a very good boxer but he is very hittable....

I think Brook would eventually catch him and rock him. Thurman has a tendancy of getting wild and wreckless when going for a K.O. Soto Karass was able to counter and stun him pretty hard im sure Brook would do better. I'd love to watch this fight.

Thurman is even more "hittable", that guy leaves himself wide open

Look how many times Brook got tagged hard in both Carson Jones fights.

Until the Porter fight, Thurman had been in with better opposition and that's saying something as Thurman hasn't had the best comp since he's ducked. Diego Chavez and Karass who fought Thurman would give Brook some good work. Diaz too.

Brook Will Get The Massive Payday With Khan FIRST, Which Makes Sense

Then quite likely Brook and Thurman could get it on. I love Thurman's swag, his cool confidence, and he's the ONE guy, few if any top contenders or belt holders want to fight. Has nothing to do with the business/money side of things; it has everything to do with his knockout power in both hands. So no question for Brook is to lock down an All UK Night with Khan-job for a massive payday. Make short work of things knocking Khan out in 3 rounds or less. Then a Thurman or Guerrero fight could follow. Quite honestly while Thurman waits for Brook to dispose Khan, I'd love to see Thurman-Guerrero fight. That would be a real war.

Thurman is solid, but he's still too inexperienced to do much against Brook. Thurman's face would be even more beat up than Porters was after his fight with Brook. Brook's jab is a serious force, fast and accurate. Not saying Thurman will never be ready, just not now.

I'd rather look at how many times he got hit by a better opponent and a fight that is recent rather than years old when the fighter was still in development.

And please, no big name fighter is ducking Thurman. This elevated status that Thurman has crafted for himself is crazy.
