smh. Yes its not a duck if you wait for them to get older, slower or they change the style that they fight. Also mayweather likes to say to fighters to keep winning and youll get the fight. Problem with that is that eventually every fighter loses when they fight the best available AT THAT TIME. AT THAT TIME is the key words for my previous comment. You are free to refute the years and fighters that I have previously stated.how the hell do you duck somebody you fought. mayweather beat hatton when they both were undefeated and it was one of the best hyped ppv fights ever. he beat cotto while cotto was champion at 154. he made 32 million dollars doing it. he and cotto made more money fighting in 2012 then they would have made in 2008. and can you name somebody margarito has beaten? cause I guarantee you everytime you saw maragarito fight he lost.
nobody says sugar ray ducked hagler. why? because they eventually fought. nobody brings up the fact that sugar ray waited years too fight hagler even though that's exactly what he did. so the fact that Floyd beat cotto and hatton later than you would have liked, still don't change the fact that Floyd beat them.
pacquiao is the only fighter Floyd ducked and is ducking.Comment

That's why me and my friends don't pay for Manny Pacquiao fights anymore. When was the last time he knocked anybody out?Floyd's fights are the least exciting out of all the fight parties we have. Yeah, he's really good but it gets boring after a few rds. And it's not like he's gonna ko somebody either so what u see after the first few rds is what you're gonna get for the rest of the fight.
At least with Floyd you get to see some sublime skills and defensive wizardry on the way to a decision win.Comment

Dude, quit exaggerating. He wasn't almost knocked out by Soto Karass.
And how is it ignorant to claim that Floyd underperformed against Maidana? Heck, even Floyd himself claims he "had no gameplan" or "was giving the fans what they wanted". Whether that's true or not is up for another discussion but the fact remains; that wasn't the best of Floyd. Anybody who truly keeps up with Floyd knows that.
Nah, Floyd has definitely lost a step or two. He's nearly 40 years old and his legs clearly don't hold up the way they use to. This was evident since the Cotto fight.
Because of Floyd's aging legs, a guy like Maidana can easily swarm in on him and make the fight tough but that doesn't make him much of a threat.
You're saying the same mess Guerrero was saying. Thurman shouldn't have to move up to fight a big name fighter. He's got them right there in the division he's in.Last edited by Mr. Punch-Out!!; 08-25-2014, 11:43 AM.Comment
