It's obvious to me that Floyd can process and understand individual words, because he reads them out relatively correctly (although it initially sounded like he reverted to ebonics in saying bidness instead of businesses...LOL), and given allowance for nervous stutter.

What I see as Floyd's problem is in the processing of all the individual words strung together into a meaningful sentence. I notice that he seemed focused on getting the bigger words right, resulting in completely missing or skipping of reading the smaller pronouns, articles or prepositions. And his most glaring problem seen in the first sentence was his inability to process & recognize a grouping of words being used to denote one entity, resulting in a broken rhythm by placing punctuation (in this case, a period) where there is none. Instead of seeing, "...for the ShowYourStripes" his mind processed, "...for the Show. (period) Your stripes..."

I'm no expert, so I won't presume to classify what level of functional illiteracy that Floyd falls under. It's just obvious that he could use remedial help, and I would give him props if he has the courage to put himself out there as a role model for everyone else in the campaign to promote literacy.

Yes, reading aloud is a skill that many can **** up. But Floyd wasn't reading that live on radio. They took him to another part of the studio/station to record it privately, off-air. The station had the entire session archived though. And Charlamagne got hold of the entire archived session and aired a portion of it. So Floyd didn't create the mess, not directly. It was never supposed to be aired like that.

You're right, the archived session was never meant to be aired like they did, with Charlamagne playing the unedited takes. But you're wrong in saying Floyd didn't create the mess. To give you a quick, reverse timeline on the situation:

Lots of forum members here have been bashing the radio station and Fifty for exposing Floyd's embarrassing dirty laundry, but as you can see by the timeline, Floyd brought down this karma on himself. He continually harps on his being "relevant" versus everyone else he sees as being beneath him...until he crossed the line by boasting about his relevance vs rappers he's beefing with...and now karma makes his relevance even greater on the world stage and in social media trends, being the new poster child of adult illiteracy. Ain't karma a b1tch!

Dam Dunn this is why I had to block you again your obsession when it comes to defending Floyd is to always bring up Pacman name and to try to diss him or compare him. In other news, Floyd fans all over the nation are gathering up at local libraries in protest of books being read. They demand justice be served because those books are being written on an uneven playing field.
