Floyd might have a problem like dyslexia or something.
    9th grade in the U.S. is 13-14

And theres no question he has a learning disability. He kept saying "Heart" instead of "I-Heart"

His eyes see the letters but his mind doesn't process it the way its written

All those problems you speak about are your problems or problems of a demographic that you belong to. Handle them, as men. Dont use your shortcomings to excuse a fully grown man/father born in the West for not being able to read.
There's no point in having a serious conversation with you, you sound like a scumbag.

All I did was point out that you need to handle your problems (living in the hood, as you say) as men, and not use them as some kind of excuse for why it's okay not to read and not to progress. It's boyish and unbecoming, and a key ingredient for failure.

Larry asked what good reading did for any of us. So, here's a guy who doesnt understand the importance of reading and writing, and goes further to even question it. All of this on the back of threatening to beat up a man he doesnt know, 50 cent, in honour of another man he doesnt know, Floyd Mayweather.

          He's definitely from the projects.

Different people grow up with different circumstances. If you grew up privileged, be thankful, don't talk to those who didn't have your privileges in a condescending manner. Some people have to make it out of the ****hole they were born and raised in with limited help. I'm from a ****hole neighborhood but I am in college, that's an exception, believe me. I blame the parents first and foremost, the environment, the drugs, the liquor stores in every corner(basically the community). Floyd did alright for himself to stay away from drug dealing or becoming an alcoholic or drug user, that I know of. The guy can't read but he did alright for himself. Just saying, the combination **** neighborhoods, uneducated parents and **** public schools lead to **** education.

If you went to a college where the students generally didnt know what they were reading, then all that means is you went to a ****, lowly ranked college. Which is still exceeding expectations anyway, for you, so kudos

But in top colleges and uni's, people are actually intelligent, educated and have no reading/conceptualisation problems, shocking and equally saddening as this may be for you.

I'm not one to make excuses for anyone, but you've never felt hardship in your life man its pretty obvious. Living in the hood is something very very difficult to overcome and not everyone can do it even if they try. People use it as an excuse yes, but there are some pretty valid points to never getting out of it, it isn't easy. I didn't live with my parents until I was 6 years old and when I finally stopped living with multiple family members I was alone from morning until I went to bed. Finally at 12 I actually saw my parents on a regular basis, I am not some rich bast*rd but I made something of myself. I have a lot of... I won't say friends but I know a few people still living in the ****** selling dope to make a living. It's best you really don't talk about something you have no experience in.

                  " FLOYD CAN'T READ"

Just saying. I guess the mods wanted to hear the responses. Is this boxing related..............hmmmmm...maybe?

How many boxers can't read? Damn how many boxing fans don't have a college degree? A high school diploma?
