Rare for me to agree with ya Dunn, but yeah. I ain't so sure about JMM this late, and I also might add BHops (but again with reservations due to age), but the top 3 in terms of pure skill are Floyd, Rigo and Ward (though Andre really does need to get his ass back in the ring).
EDIT - and ****... yeah I'm a big Golovkin fan but #5 on the skill ranks? It's supposed to be the fanboys who post stuff like that. Genuinely, I think he is that good but he needs to prove it first.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 08-22-2014, 04:38 PM.Comment

While i agree that Rigo is probably more slick, faster and accurate. He is nowhere near as complete as Ward. He only fights at medium range and leads with power-shots, no jab at all.
Ward can do it all, fight from the outside, medium range and he is one of the best inside fighters in the game right now. Ward is more complete and has more dimensions to his game. I think he is also harder to beat.
Rigo has yet to face a fighter who will pressure the shi** out of him and who's not afraid to take punches to land punches.
And Donaire is not a better win than Froch (who, right now is a top 10 P4P fighter).Comment

Floyd, Ward and Rigo.. In that order..
Sure they are the "sweet scientists" alright.
No argument there. But...
Pacquiao, Golovkin, Kovalev
The "iron men" of boxing.
I'm sure they could be held arguably much higher stead.
These days' it's becoming increasingly clear that Golovkin would knock Ward or Floyd out. Kovalev would definitely knock Ward out. Pacquiao must be considered more highly than Mayweather despite the losses because Floyd is **** scared to face him. Rigo is too small to make a real impact higher and has nobody else to fight.
It's clear. At this stage the punchers/pressure guys are a notch above the technicians in general.
