Juan Is Considering The Safest Route To A '47 Belt; That Means No Manny

Marquez would have taken 10 rematches and losses, to have one win over Pacquiao, and that's what he wants to leave with. He knows he can't train any harder than he did for their 4th fight, yet he was out of gas by Round 5, when he was bloodied, behind on all scorecards, and just knocked down. No drug testing in place, ringsiders commented commented how big Marquez was. Despite all that, he was Gas'd after 5. He knows he can't pull off the same outcome in a 5th fight, not to mention drug testing would no doubt be in place.

He knows he can't beat Floyd nor was their first fight remotely close enough to warrant a rematch.

He didn't want Porter, when Shawn called him out. He didn't want Provodnikov when he called Juan out, instead opting for Alvarado, Provo had just destroyed. He couldn't beat Bradley with drug testing in place, just prior to Pacquiao dismantling Bradley in his rematch.

I'd say Marquez is stuck. He can't beat a prime Kell Brook. He's not going to just fight to fight at 41 years old. He won't fight Pacquiao. Floyd is not an option. Cotto & Canelo are too big. Marquez should just go pack up and fight Erik Morales in Mexico and win one over that shot countryman legend, Marquez ducked his entire career.

Alvarado is a decent fighter and at one point a champ at 140...but the man was coming off a beatdown against Provo. So thus, JMM's win against Mike was a good win,...but not that impressive to me. Ducking Provo just made me hate the fight a bit more.
Marquez didn't do much in his career period besides giving Pac 2 tough fights and then hooking up with Memo for 3 and 4. Look at his career without the Pac fights, and he's borderline HOF

I think he "gassed" on that 4th fight because Pacquiao had taken over the fight and had put JMM in a tough predicament. That and he couldn't breathe through his nose properly due to the damage it had endured. Try going a one minute with a blood clogged nose and a speed demon the likes of Pacquiao and see if you don't get "gassed" regardless of your preparation.

Rematch with Floyd? JMM doesn't care for it. He knows his style is all wrong to even make a competitive fight against FM Jr, much less attempt to beat him in a rematch.

JMM has always and will always have a hard time against fighters who can move and box. TB fought cautiously and executed his game plan damn near perfectly. He even wobbled Marquez in the 12th. Claiming his bad performance was a direct result from the presence of blood testing is overlooking the fact that TB simply outboxed him.

So yes, Pac and Floyd are out of the question. Kell Brook would most definitely beat Marquez down and coast to a UD due to the clash of styles favouring Brook, as well as the physical attributes. Now, Erik Morales is retired… why the hell would he waste his time with a faded, retired and bloated JrWW fighter when Marquez is campaigning at 147. If JMM decides to fight one more time, I'm pretty sure he is going after Brook. It's the most logical route for him seeing as he is against a 5th fight with Pac and has absolutely no interest in Floyd.

Lol at Erik Morales being mentioned...

Oh NO ! Does that mean we can't speculate about pimples on a 40 year old ??????

Does that mean we can't question where he got the BRAND NEW CAR, erah, errah, I mean the BRAND NEW POWER ????

Does that mean he will never give his nemisis a 5th fight because he KNOWS without a DOUBT he could NEVER do that shot on Pac again ?

Does that mean if Memo dumps him he will Naturally go back down to a normal size ????

Speculate all you want morons but where's the drty test results? And get the F out of here with your recap of what happenned before the knockout. Marquez KTFO Pacquiao, period. If what happenned before fights end by knockout mattered there should be an "almost had it" championship belt. Besides, if Marquez does decide to fight Pacquiao again he will probably win again. Pacquiao is diminished and in no rush to fight Marquez again either.

Marquez, just sit down, relax, and have a nice cup of piss while you mull over your big decision that nobody cares about anymore. Marquez wanted a 147-lb belt, yet ducks Pac even though it would earn him $5-10 million. We all know he won't go after Floyd again. He wanted a softie like Malignaggi but got hella scared when Porter took the belt. Brook will have no incentive to fight JMM.

Career's over for the 40 year old who apparently just hit puberty and developed acne.
