If Andre Ward retired today, should he get inducted into the HOF?

He's close but I would lean towards no. Ward still needs to add depth to his resume. Besides his Super 6 wins (which are really good), he doesn't have much else.
He's obviously a HOF talent though and one of the best fighters currently. If he continues to fight, he will get in.Comment

Bute possibly. Prime Calzaghe now. Faded Calzaghe probably not. Coked up Calzaghe probably not. I give Ward a chance against a 60 year old Calzaghe but Joe hasn't reached that age yet so we will see what condition he is in.Comment

Just look at the names, people. SMW life existed before and after the Super Six. You don't get to ignore everything Froch has done if it didn't happen during the Super Six.Ward has the best win (Froch) and a fresher Kessler. But outside if that he doesn't have much, Abraham and Bika are good solid wins.
Froch has Kessler (abit older), Bute, Abraham, Taylor, Dirrell, Groves x2, Pascal.
I think it's definitely very clear Froch has more depth to his resume. But again it is still arguable.Comment

I would say no. Just winning the super 6 is not enough to make the HOF. Compare ward to the sure fire HOF'ers still active-floyd, rjj, manny, bhop, cotto, wlad, jmm, toney (add if i'm missing any)-his accomplishments don't compare.Comment

Froch, Wonjongkam, Martinez, Jorge Arce, Chris John, Morales and is Mosley officially retired yet?
Maybe Donaire & Kessler too.Comment
