Ward is a prima donna who demands everything his own way.

It's difficult for Goossen, because Ward is insecure about fighting without a home ref and so refuses to travel. Ward also makes unrealistic money demands.

He was offered a fight with Kessler in Denmark and with Froch in the UK, and said no, even though the money was good for both fights.

He was offered a fight with Stevenson at 168 or 175 and said no (too risky?).

He was contacted for a HBO fight with Kovalev at 175 but Ward said no, Kovalev would have to weight-drain down to 168 and the fight would need to be in Oakland (perhaps so the shady Jack Reiss could be the ref).

Being envious of the attention given to Golovkin, he wants GGG to come up to 168 and fight him in Oakland, so there can be a referee who permits him to head butt and otherwise foul. GGG said he'll come up to 168 for a PPV with Froch or Chavez, but a fight with Ward at 168 isn't enough money, especially since Ward will demand a huge payday and so take most of the revenue.

What was hilarious to me was how he once called out Chavez Jr, and then when he found out Froch wanted to fight Chavez Jr. he said he was looking to go the easy route.

A lot of people don't like Floyd either, but they still want to see him fight. You can not like a guy and appreciate their craft. I can't stand Tom Brady not only because he is a Patriot (I'm a Dolphins fan) but he has that rich white guy attitude even when you hear him talk to his guys on the bench. I still enjoy watching him play because the guy has skills. Andre is boring to watch and really I don't like anything he does in or out of the ring but he is good boxer and I like seeing guys test themselves in the ring, not in court.

Still don't understand why the Ward haters care so much about Ward's legal issues with Goossen. You should be happy aren't you? Instead of your hate towar Ward is even bigger because he has legal issues. If you don't like him anyways why the fuck you botherd by his legal issues? You hope that if he wouldn't be inactive someone would beat him or what? Because I don't think so. And even if he doesn't fight before 2015 he is 30 years old, and because his style (not based just on speed and reflexes, take less damage) his carreer probably will lasts long enough for that at the end of it nobody will remember these inactive years or at least nobody will mention it as an important thing in his carreer. Even with this lawsuit he has probably 4-5 years if not more left in the sport. So even if I disappointed that one of my favourite fighters is so inactive I will continue to back him up and I still think that after this mess he will continue to rule his division and/or the 175 division. I don't see anybody now around his weight who could beat him.
And on Froch... Froch is a big warrior, tho I don't like his persona, he has all of my respect because his carreer and willing power but he is simple not as good as Ward, Ward is a better boxer, plain and simple, he also proved that on their fight years ago.

If there's one truth about Professional Boxing at the highest level, it's that inactivity kills careers.

IMO someone was whispering in his ear how much more money and exposure he could get if he worked with haymo. That's probably why we've seen him visiting the Mayweather gym. This cause him to get greedy and want what Floyd has.

Ward will down in history as one of the best if not the best middle weight lineal champion.
He needs to stay humble. There's no need to chase the dragon.

Not Ward's, hehas plenty of times yet. We will see.
But again, not specially to you but usually: If you don't like the guy, than be happy withthe fact that he has legal issuesand heis inactive otherwise if he would be active that would be worse and more anoying for you because he would continue to beat the people who you claim to beat him. So stop the hate and enjoy his inactivity till it lasts after that it will be just worse for you.
