    Andre "Son of Goossen" Ward

What is his problem? He is not the modern day Muhammad Ali, fighting for what is right. And he does not have the same sort of pulling power as Floyd Mayweather, Jr. He is incapable of forcing his way out of the contract. Is greed his sole motivation?

Truely I'd have to put Carl "The Cobra" Froch at #1 at 168 right now. If they were to fight any time soon on neutral ground I'd back Froch to turn him over. Froch vs. Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. for the vacant RING Magazine title? No doubt Ward is going to vanish from Boxrec before he fights again.

A waste of a promising career. By now he could have rematched Mikkel Kessler, rematched Froch, spanked JCC Jr., Sergio Martinez, and be lining up a unification fight with Gennady Golovkin. Stalling his own career like this, in his prime, is going to kill his legacy.

Boring in the ring and boring out of it.

Man he's gotta let go of that petty quarrel with his former manager. Basically, his own stubbornness has dulled his mind. What he should be doing is taking advantage every second, every minute and every hour of his remaining prime years. He already knew he's special fighter, but what good does it do if he's not doing anything about it. It's a huge waste really, he could be more than what he is now, if he just kept on fighting, and then by doing so, he could be hitting two birds with one stone; One: He's earning well, big or small, nevertheless he's earning; he is taking care of his supposed brilliant career. Two: He just earned a good dose of revenge against his former manager, because we know that the best revenge is living life well.

He's pretty much jealous of Floyd. That's why he's so desperate to get Chavez on PPV. It's really disgusting how low Ward has fallen. Boxers don't get any popular by not fighting and crying all the time.

It's unbelievable how hot he was after the super 6 and how he's killed that momentum by not fighting. I agree Froch is #1 until Ward finds his love for the sport again instead of the money. Jealousy is a biiiitch.

Nothing he can do no one wants to fight him it's basically a guaranteed loss

I think he'll have a long career in any case but what's happening at the moment is a damn shame. The Goose has his number, he needs to accept it.

I think Arum filled his head with the idea of fighting Chavez for big money. Remember that talk a while ago about Ward jumping to Top Rank? Why else would he want to do that unless Arum was saying, "come on over to my side, I'll get you that pay day."

Ward seems to be desperately clinging to whatever crap Arum fed him about making huge money. Plus he doesn't talk a like a fighter that wants to fight anymore. Guess Ward wants a huge payday to retire, but the problem is that payday doesn't exist. Even if he got Chavez, he wouldn't make what he seems to think he'll make.

ward lost in court-time to get back in the ring and fight.

Next time you want to get out of your contract-buyout or fight and then don't resign when the time comes.

Did he really? It's because Ward doesn't fight outside of the US in fear he will be DQ'd
