When you have the aforementioned problems; no lateral movement, very limited power and very little speed you need to at least have size on your side.

How is a guy with those other limitations going to have success when he is smaller? He can't use speed as he doesn't have any, he can't do it inside as Wlad will just hold and lean on him...it's going to be a fight fouht at range and Pulev has very, very little to offer.

wlad will not be able to lean on him & get away with it. Pulev is as big as him & has a good reach. pulev has a good jab & nice arsenal of punches. his chin will be tested against wlad like it never has been before & his lack of power could be an issue as well. I got wlad by decision but this won't be a jab & grab contest in my opinion just because of pulev's size. 6'5 250 & he ain't fat...

Looking forward to this one. Hopefully the Fury/Chisora II winner is next. Wlad has a lot of interesting matchups on the horizon right now. Pulev, winner of Fury/Chisora II, winner of the Stiverne/Wilder/Jennings triangle, Carlos Takam, Lucas Browne, Joseph Parker.

Wlad might as well be juicing for this fight. He's refusing random testing. At the end of the day, he's the better fighter but he's the fighter with less fluidity. He's more rigid and his speed is not as great. What he does have, is an ubelievable timing with his jab. I think Pulev's jab is faster, snappier, probably as heavy. He doesn't have the same timing though and that could be his downfall. I think it will be a battle of the jabs and that fact that Pulev struggled a little bit in the beginning against Thompson is not even relevant. This fight won't be fought at close range. It will be fought at distance where both of them prefer to fight.
