Good decision. That boy would get eaten alive at 140.

I like this kid. But (as I said it before) he looks fragile... And in case Figueroa would start a bodybuilding programme I guess he would have to fight at 147 -- which is nonsense...

          Scared of AB!

          Linares will easily outbox him

I like Figueroa, but he wanted to go to 140 and fight Danny?? As in Garcia?? Dude the garsh would have turned his lights out. Anyway, if he's struggling to make 135, why would he stay there??

He should move up. I'm sure he'd compete just fine with the likes of Broner. Him and Lamont would be a classic.

              How about Crawford-Figueroa?

Figueroa would have been knocked out by Provodnikov, Garcia, and Matthysse.

I'm a big Omar fan. I think this is the right move right now. His style and brittle hands will make for exciting fights at 140 but not a prolonged career.

He'll be there next year for sure so finish business at 135 this year.

i can see it now, garcia takes another fight at 140 and takes on 135 wbc champ panterita that moves up. well wait atleast he is champ.
panterita needs to stay at 135. he needs to put in work in the off season and not pack on so much weight between training camps and fights.
on another note. no disrespect to his dad, but he needs a experienced trainer. to teach him a few more fundamentals and balance. kids was rusty saturday.

Figueroa/Linares will get made GB must of made him change his mind which is good that's a exciting fight could play out similar to DeMarco fight.

Skilled boxer/puncher w/chin issues vs lesser talented pressure ****er.
